Waikuku's Environment is beautiful and the estuary and it's ecosystem is something to be cherished and protected for our future generations.

The intention of this page is to keep people connected with what is happening with the estuary, the river and the dunes. There are many groups working toward acheiving a positive future for Waikuku's environment and we hope to celebrate this here, as well as to report on any issues which might be of concern.

Caring for our Environment is a new page which aims to keep the community in contact with the issues currently facing the beach and estuary.
